Peeing in the Rain

Wait, its still raining, I changed my mind. Don't make me go out there!

11:35am. The payoff. The longest pee he has done in ages, all in one place for a change. Getting it done and getting back in where its dry.

Of course, he didn't really end up peeing in the rain. It was only under the scaffolding that he would stop long enough to lift a leg, and only then because, after 14 1/2 hours, he was tired of holding it.

Back inside, a wet-headed but relieved Great Dane.

No Peein' In the Rain

Alexander Reykjavik went out for the last pee last night at 9:15. He is reliably good to go for 12 hours overnight, so I never have to get up early to take him outside. This morning, he heard the rain on the skylight, and decided to stay in bed for awhile longer. At 10:10am, I decided this had to stop, and lured him from bed with cheese. I put on his raincoat/superhero cape, grabbed my anorak and umbrella, and headed out in the downpour.

Here is he running for the door after I pulled him out into the rain.

We even went across the street under the scaffolding, but no "go".

After a fruitless 15 minutes of me trying to get him to go, and him trying to get me to go back to the door, I gave up and we came inside. I guess we will see how long he can go without going.
