Reykjavik Gets a Shout-Out on the Huffington Post

A couple weeks ago we met a travel writer in Erin Rose, a local bar popular when its cold because they serve hot alcoholic drinks;)

Christie, the writer and her dog Yoda were there chronicling the dog-hospitality of New Orleans. Christie took a picture of Reykjavik standing on his hind legs looking out the window of the bar, which appears in the article she wrote on Huffington Post: New Orleans: Fido Friendly Fun.

Welcome to The Dog House

Reykjavik's Dogmother TBG found a photo of him on an artist's website called WelcomeToTheDogHouse. He is on the page in the title link with the caption "Great Dane Wallpaper". You can save the photo to your desktop as wallpaper. The photo was taken in McCarren dog park, so probably about a a year and a half ago, before we moved to DUMBO.

The artist (and photographer) who owns the website is named Alexis Trice, and paints pictures of dogs from photographs. The paintings are very fun and fanciful. Check out the site!
