What Reykjavik Would Look Like With Cropped Ears

This is Fausto, owned by Alan H. in Topeka KS. Fausto came from Reyk's breeder, Idlewild Kennels. He has quite a resemblance to Alexander Reykjavik. What a supremely handsome boy he is!! I grabbed this photo from Idlewild Kennels website. It was sent in by Alan. If we get a second dane, I would love to get one that has these markings. I have become a fool for the Merle.

This really gives me an idea how Reyk would look with his ears cropped. I grew up seeing Great Danes this way, and always felt they looked so majestic and fierce. When we got Reykjavik we decided not to crop his ears, and now knowing the personality of the breed, or at least Reyk, I am so glad we did not. He is such a cartoon dog, and the soft floppy ears just fit him better.
