4 month old Great Dane at DUMBO beach
The blog of Alexander Reykjavik, who lives in DUMBO, NYC. He came to us on a plane from Iowa, on July 19th, 2006 the day after we flew back from Reykjavik, Iceland. Born on April 20th, 2006, he is a merle coated Great Dane from Idlewild Kennels.

I like the unique name for your dane, that's one of my favorite things to do; come up with names for these characters!
I like the dogs from Idlewild, I've perused her litters, yours is handsome!
Thank you. When he was a puppy, nobody liked his name, but now that he is much bigger, people think it suits him well. I highly recommend Idlewild dogs. Very healthy in my experience.
